Over 70% of Oregon voters believe women should have access to the full range of reproductive health care, starting with preventative care and continuing through postpartum care.

A fringe anti-abortion extremist group called Oregon Life Unite put a constitutional amendment on Oregon’s 2018 ballot that would have restricted access to abortion to our most vulnerable Oregonians, effectively causing a backdoor ban on it. A right is not a right when people can’t equally access it.

Our coalition worked to give voters the facts needed to make an informed decision. Oregonians had already voted “no” twice on similar measures in recent years, and when yet another attempt to restrict abortion access appeared on the ballot, they defeated it again.
